in the shortest way possible to share a long history - i’ve been fascinated by astrology and similar pursuits for as long as i can remember. my home still houses a small binder i created for myself in fifth grade, constructed of a plastic overlay and clippings about numerology from an astrology website. despite my deeply Christian, black upbringing, this interest came naturally. my subsequent study over the years has built a language within which i can better understand both myself and the world around me. similarly, being immersed in music from a young age (born of familial influence) has built a comparable language. i’m often able to demonstrate understanding and convey information through use of art and sound. these languages to me, feel as organic as english. 

years into my personal explorations, i’ve sunk my teeth into exploring a wide range of music through the context of emotional experience – and pop astrology has exploded onto a wider stage. many times i’ve shared information about a friend’s natal chart with them, but lacked a succinct way to encapsulate the thoughts and feelings the chart communicated to me. “what are capricorns like”, for example, is a question i feel like has multiple answers that can be expressed through not only through words, but associations, sounds and landmarks in time.

i am not certified, nor professionally taught, only deeply curious and divinely gifted with a creative mind. building individual playlists about astrological placements and themes seeks to share my own languages with others and teach basic astrology correlations in a more relatable tongue. at the end of the day, i hope you enjoy the music, and feel what i feel when i relate information about an astrological sign. more than that, if you learn something about yourself – or a friend, that would make me happy too.
